Paexo Shoulder

The Paexo Shoulder is a passive, shoulder support exoskeleton for work and industry by Ottobock. It is part of the Paexo family of assistive devices for workers.

Description

At 1.9 kg / 3.9 lb the Paexo Shoulder is one of the lightest shoulder support exoskeletons, if not the lightest, circa May 2020. The Paexo Shoulder has a significantly different architecture to similar wearables introduced in 2018. It replaces the typical metal column on the back with ball joints that connect directly at the hip. This change significantly reduces the weight of the wearable.
