Description
Angel Legs M20 is a wearable rehabilitation exoskeleton from Angel Robotics, South Korea, and follows the success of the M10, which was previously listed in this catalog but has now been archived.
Assistance and operation
The M20 uses force-controlled actuators and an assist-as-needed approach to supplement the wearer’s effort. Ground-contact information and sensors within the robot recognize movement intent. Pelvic width and depth, leg length, and fastening points can be adjusted. Guide buttons provide an additional way to cue gait timing.
A dedicated tablet application supports robot control, live monitoring, individual records, and review by training date or mode. Motion-analysis reports cover gait phases, spatial-temporal measures, joint kinematics, and a gait index. The tablet can be stored in the backpack.
Training modes
Currently (Nov 2027), there are seven modes: sit-to-stand, sitting, standing, level walking, level walking (Smart), stair climbing, and squats. Available activities must follow the instructions and clinical supervision applicable to the supplied configuration and market.
