TASK AR 3.0

TASK AR is a series of passive exoskeletons by the Japanese producer Dydo Co., Ltd. The TASK series of wearables rely on springs and dampers. They are assist suits that support the upper arms. Reportedly, they have found a foothold in agriculture and construction applications.

Description

The TASK AR 3.0 is a passive shoulder support exoskeleton. It is an auxiliary vest that supports the arms during overhead work. The slim profile of this exosuit is designed to minimize any possible interference with peripherals, such as fall protection harnesses.

Details:

  • Weight: 1.7 kg (3.7 lb)
  • Adjustable assistance between 1.5kgf ~ 3.0kgf (14.7 N to 29.4 N)
  • Optimal assistance can be set to an angles of 90°, 120°, or 150°.
