KidGo

Lower extremity exoskeleton walking rehabilitation device KidGo is a pediatric powered gait rehabilitation exoskeleton by RoboCT.

Description

The RoboCT KidGo is a children’s exoskeleton. It comes in a rehabilitation and personal use variant. In addition to being a powered hip-knee wearable robot that helps with actuating the legs, the system includes a mobile stabilizing frame with arm handles. Designed with children in mind, the KidGo includes interactive games to guide and entertain through repetitive gait training and walking exercises. This pediatric solution is meant to assist with repetitive, accurate, and consistent gait training while providing multiple training modes, data, and relevant feedback. Multiple parts of the exo can be adjusted to accommodate a larger percentage of users.

The KidGo is a tool best suited for children with spinal cord injury, brain lesions, or neuromuscular diseases. Similar to other pediatric exoskeletons in its class, it is best for users 100 to 160 cm in height (3′ 3″ to 5’3″).
