Description
The EXO-S is a lightweight exoskeleton that helps workers with overhead work. It comes in two sizes, regular and large. The large model weighs 5.3 lb ( 2.4 kg), making it just slightly heavier than the original EXO-01. This is a passive device that doesn’t use batteries or motors.
The EXO-S Shoulder Exoskeleton is best used to reduce shoulder and neck fatigue when working at or above the shoulder level. It is meant to lower workers’ physical strain and contribute to overall well-being. This, in turn, could cut down on sick leave and help with employee retention in physically demanding work environments. Ideal applications include drywall installation, surface grinding and sanding on walls and ceilings, and overhead installation of piping, sprinklers, air ducts, and cables.
