Description
The Dephy Sidekick is a powered wearable system for the lower leg and ankle. The system uses Sidekick-compatible shoes with an integrated carbon fiber footplate, quick-connect attachment hardware, removable rechargeable batteries, integrated sensors, adaptive gait controls, and three user-selectable power levels. Dephy describes the product as a consumer device for adults who want more comfortable everyday movement, including walking, extended walking, and hiking.
Sidekick is designed to augment walking by providing a gentle boost during forward motion while maintaining the ankle’s natural range of motion.
