AMADEO

The AMADEO is a hand and finger robotic rehabilitation device.  It is effectively an end effector exoskeleton that doesn’t follow the contours of the human hand but directly connects to the fingers.  It is a stationary/fixed exoskeleton designed to be used only for rehabilitation.

Description

The AMADEO is a powered end effector exoskeleton for hand and finger rehabilitation.  The system can be configured to be used both for adults and children.

The AMADEO is designed to be used during any part of the hand rehabilitation process.  It has a wide variety of modes executed by the company’s custom motion control software.  Like most robotic rehabilitation devices it can include visual feedback and interactive tasks.

The device can also be used as a test tool to measure the rehabilitation needs of a patient as well as their progress.
