X-Soft

X-Soft is a passive industrial back-support exoskeleton from Exorise for manual material handling and other physically demanding work tasks. It uses an elastomer-and-spring system to store and release energy during bending, reaching, and lifting, helping reduce load on the operator’s back without an external power source.

Description

X-Soft is a passive occupational exoskeleton intended for industrial workers performing lifting, carrying, sustained-effort tasks, hazardous-area work, and work with heavy tools. The device is designed around a flexible base, distributed elastomer system, and corset structure that supports posture and redistributes load during work.

The current Exorise product page lists X-Soft as weighing 2.5 kg (5.5 lb). Exorise describes the device as suitable for sectors including metallurgy, oil and gas, engineering, construction, warehousing, handling operations, agriculture, housing and utility services, and emergency-response-related work.

The current Russian version of the product page states spinal load reduction of up to 30% in the introductory section and worker fatigue reduction of 37%.
