Description
The WIR is a consumer/commercial powered exoskeleton for hiking and exercise. It is a single-motor wearable robot that provides actuation to both legs. It is strapped to the front of the waist, similar to a fanny pack.
The device was unveiled at CES 2024 and was awarded the ‘Innovation Awards in two categories: CES 2024 Robotics and Excellence and Aging Tech.
