Description
The Awaist-LL Waist Protection Exoskeleton is SEEPPO’s smaller-profile passive lumbar/waist protection device. Unlike the larger Awaist-HL/lumbar-assist model, which has over-the-shoulder carrying structures linked to the arms, the Awaist-LL focuses on back and waist support during repetitive bending. SEEPPO describes the device as storing energy during bending and converting it into assistance during standing, reducing the effort required to rise after bending.
The product uses carbon fiber and Kevlar in its energy-storage system, with adjustable wearing components, a waist strap, an energy-storage backboard, leg restraints, and unilateral synchronous adjustment for the leg straps. SEEPPO lists application scenarios including garden planting, logistics, and warehouse management.
Weight of Device: ≈0.95 kg (≈2.1 lb)
Suitable wearer height listed as 1.60–1.90 m (5 ft 3 in–6 ft 3 in)
