Description

Muscle Suit Soft-Light 2 is a garment-like passive support suit intended to assist the lower back during physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, stooped work, and half-crouched postures. The suit transfers tension from the lower to the upper body to support lifting movements, while the waist support increases abdominal pressure for added stability in standing, forward-leaning, and half-crouched positions. Innophys emphasizes the Soft-Light 2’s breathable construction, ease of wear and adjustment, and simple maintenance for everyday workplace use.

This is the smaller cousin of the Innophys product line, which doesn’t use compressed air or springs but instead uses elastic elements.

Replacement/update note:

The original Muscle Suit Soft-Light has been retired from the Exoskeleton Report catalog and replaced with Muscle Suit Soft-Light 2. Innophys now lists the original Soft-Light as discontinued, while Soft-Light 2 is listed as the updated model. Compared with the previous Soft-Light, the new version features a redesigned stretchable-part layout for improved support, a reinforced waist belt with an easier tightening adjuster, a Power Grip Texture to reduce slippage, and a height-adjustable, removable chest belt for better fit and comfort. It also improves size adaptability, fitting users approximately 150–190 cm tall and with waist sizes from 65–115 cm, depending on the size selected.
