HAPO UP

The HAPO UP is a passive (elastic) occupational exoskeleton designed to protect the shoulders and arms of workers engaged in repetitive work at or above chest level (with the arms up). The wearable device offers protection to the shoulder from awkward postures or handling loads while extending the arms upwards.

Description

HAPO UP is designed to relieve the upper arms in construction, logistics, maintenance, industrial, agricultural, and medical applications. It is the spiritual successor of the Shiva Exo by the same company.

The HAPO Up relieves the upper arm, shoulders, and elbows by redirecting the loads from the arm to the lower back.  It assists the arms when extended, primarily in the front of the body at angles of 90 to 170 degrees.

It can be used when the arms perform repetitive movements and the arms are out in front for long periods of time.

It is available in 1 size.  It takes 50 seconds to put on and 20 seconds to take off. It weighs 1.67 kg (3.7 lb).  The fabric is breathable, washable, and water-repellent.

Assists up to 3.8kg (8.4 lb) per arm.
