Description
The e.z.UP® EZ104 is a wearable assist garment positioned for industrial and carework settings where workers perform repeated arm elevation, lifting, and sustained postures. It has been developed in collaboration with Waseda University (Mechanical System Design Laboratory, Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems, Faculty of Science and Engineering). The manufacturer states that it is intended to reduce the burden of muscle activity (e.g., the biceps brachii and erector spinae) rather than to increase the wearer’s strength beyond normal capability or to improve athletic performance.

It includes adjustable support/tension, claims quick attachment/removal in about 60 s (1 min), and is marketed as machine washable when placed in a storage bag/laundry net with closures fastened.
