Description
REEV’s mission is to “create a lightweight, discreet and intelligent exoskeleton that would be able to overcome the limitation of current exoskeletons and reach as many people as possible.” The DREEVEN is a “light motorization for medical orthosis coupled with artificial intelligence algorithms to provide personalized assistance to reduce the efforts required to walk, stand up, sit down, or take stairs.” Effectively a powered knee exoskeleton, it is designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
REEV is building its sensor and exoskeleton products to “help [the] millions of people affected by neurological gait disorders after strokes, multiple sclerosis or paraplegia to overcome their daily disability by becoming more autonomous and independent in their movements.”
