Description
The BionicBack MOVE is a lighter, seat-friendly version of the hTRIUS BionicBack family, designed for flexible use in workplaces that involve frequent dynamic lifting rather than prolonged static forward-bent postures. It is intended for industrial and logistics environments where users repeatedly lift between floor and hip height and may also need to sit in vehicles, forklifts, or similar equipment.
The device uses a flexible back-support structure modeled after the human back, and hTRIUS states that the MOVE can be deactivated via a freewheel function when sitting or driving, but provides up to 25% relief with each lifting movement when activated, and up to 37% less rounded-back posture through posture correction.
Weight of Device: 1.2 kg (2.6 lb)
User Limits: Available in XS, M, and XL
- XS is for body sizes under 1.60 m (5 ft 3 in)
- M is for 1.60 m to approximately 1.88 m (5 ft 3 in to 6 ft 2 in)
- XL is for body sizes over 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in)
Summary: Compared with the standard BionicBack, hTRIUS states that MOVE is designed for dynamic activities, does not include the static support function, and is more comfortable for sitting and riding.
