Description
Ant-WA1 is an active exoskeleton product designed for heavy-duty lifting. Weighing 8.4 kg (18.5 lb), it is a little heavier than the average occupational exoskeleton. However, it features a powerful four-wheel drive system that can provide a maximum lifting assistance of over 40 kg (88 lb). It supports load adaptation, eliminating the need for manual gear shifting, and is capable of lifting loads from the ground to shoulder height. WA1 also allows for seamless switching between lifting and walking modes, enhancing work efficiency. With a robust load support structure and a variety of external accessories such as shoulder hooks, it can be used in various applications, including industrial logistics and mining docks, reducing physical strain on the body. The Ant-WA1 can deliver a maximum torque of 51 Nm.
Similar to the smaller ANT-W1, the Ant-WA1 includes over-the-shoulder straps that connect at the back of the wearable device. The straps can be worn over the hands to generate support while lifting, holding, or transporting heavy loads. Depending on the use case, the battery can last 5 to 7 hours and takes 1.5 hours to charge.
