Description
The BES-P Energy Storage Exoskeleton is the smaller and lighter brother of the BES-HV. Both are electrically driven lumbar support wearable robots. This exoskeleton is an occupational device best suited for workers in physically strenuous environments.Ā During lifting, the exoskeleton pushes on the user’s thighs, providing up to 15 kg (33 lb) of support. In addition to safeguarding the lower back, this wearable is also meant to reduce premature exhaustion and preserve workers’ energy levels during lifting or working in place.
