B900

The exoIQ B900 is a powered industrial back exoskeleton for logistics, production, and skilled trades. It provides active support of up to 30 kg (66 lb) during lifting, carrying, and forward-leaning work, while preserving freedom of movement through a patented mechanism and freewheel mode. Delivery is planned for July 2026.

Description

The exoIQ B900 is an electric back-support exoskeleton developed for industrial work environments where employees perform lifting, carrying, or forward-leaning tasks. It is intended to reduce strain on the lower back muscles, the lumbar spine, and the intervertebral discs rather than to increase the wearer’s maximum lifting capacity.

The B900 uses powered assistance with preset support modes, four onboard preset memory slots, and tool-free adjustment for different users. The device is compatible with Festool 18 V BP 18 Li system batteries, has a stated runtime of up to 6 hours with a 3.0 Ah battery depending on work dynamics, and weighs 5.6 kg (12.3 lb) excluding the battery. It is adjustable for users from 1.65 to 2.00 m (5 ft 5 in to 6 ft 7 in).

Weight of Device: 5.6 kg (12.3 lb), excluding battery

Supplied Power or Torque: Up to 30 kg (66 lb) active support; exoIQ notes that the system is for strain relief, not for increasing user strength or lifting capacity

User Limits: Adjustable for body sizes from 1.65 to 2.00 m (5 ft 5 in to 6 ft 7 in); not recommended for people with pacemakers due to electromagnetic fields

Notes: Compatible with almost all Festool 18 V BP 18 Li battery packs; supplied with 2x BP 18 Li 3.0 HPC-ASI battery packs and TCL 6 fast charger; runtime up to 6 hours with a 3.0 Ah battery; charging time less than 30 minutes; donning/doffing under 30 seconds; operating temperature range -25.6 °C to 40 °C (-14 °F to 104 °F); dry outdoor use only, not protected against water ingress; developed in Hamburg and made in Germany; delivery planned for July 2026
