Description

The ATLAS 2030 is a pediatric lower body medical exoskeleton.  This wearable robot is designed to be used only by children, ages 3 to 14.  This exoskeleton is a powered hip-knee-ankle orthotic device with the additional capability to self-balance.

The ATLAS 2030 is designed to be used by children with severe neuromuscular diseases, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and others.

The entire exoskeleton weighs only 14 kg (31 lbs).  The weight reduction comes from the shrinking of the exoskeleton frame and motors to fit the profile of a child.
