Description
The ATLAS 2030 is a pediatric lower body medical exoskeleton. Â This wearable robot is designed to be used only by children, ages 3 to 14. Â This exoskeleton is a powered hip-knee-ankle orthotic device with the additional capability to self-balance.
The ATLAS 2030 is designed to be used by children with severe neuromuscular diseases, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and others.
The entire exoskeleton weighs only 14 kg (31 lbs). Â The weight reduction comes from the shrinking of the exoskeleton frame and motors to fit the profile of a child.
