Hypershell X S Series

The Hypershell X is an AI-powered consumer exoskeleton designed to enhance mobility for activities like hiking, travel, sports, and fitness.

Description

The Hypershell X S Series is a consumer-oriented family of powered exoskeletons designed to assist lower-body movement during outdoor and everyday activities. The system is positioned for users who can already walk (and balance) independently and want powered assistance for activities such as hiking, travel, walking, running, cycling, photography, and fitness.

The X S Series adds Hypershell’s newer HyperIntuition control approach, which the company describes as an end-to-end adaptive support system that responds to stride and terrain in real time. It includes up to 12 adaptive assistive modes. The company states that TÜV Rheinland testing measured up to 97.5% human-machine gait synchronization and response time as low as 0.31 seconds under controlled test conditions. The intent is for the new generation of X S Series to respond 64.5% faster.

Additional notes: IP54 water/dust resistance; removable 72 Wh battery system; upgraded soft-wearing system; carbon fiber/aluminum alloy construction on X Pro S and X Max S, and carbon fiber/titanium alloy construction on X Ultra S.

The three-model lineup ranges from the X Pro S at 800 W (1.1 hp), and 17.5 km (10.9 mi) listed battery range to the X Ultra S at 1000 W (1.3 hp), 12 adaptive assistive modes, and a listed 30 km × 2 (18.6 mi × 2) battery range configuration:
