Description

The X-Rise is a wearable shoulder support exoskeleton for tasks that require continuous or repetitive work at or above chest level. Similar to other shoulder-support passive exoskeletons, it is worn with the intent of reducing fatigue and the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

The X-Rise is designed to remove weight from the shoulders and transfer it to the user’s hips. This industrial exoskeleton is intended to mimic the range of movement of the human body. The X-Rise weighs between 2 kg to 3 kg (4.4 lb to 6.6 lb), depending on its configuration. In return, the two spring-loaded lift arms can be configured to provide 0.5 kg to 6 kg of reaction force (1 lb to 13 lb).
