Description

The NX-A3 is a fixed frame gait rehabilitation exoskeleton.  It utilizes a powered hip-knee exoskeleton and a treadmill.

The NX-A3 is marketed as a robotics rehabilitation device sponsored by the Chinese government.  It is meant to populate the multiple rehabilitation centers that are being built around the country.

The manufacturer hopes this wearable exoskeleton will be used by patients whose lower limbs are powerless or have spasms due to:

• Apoplexy
• Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
• Cerebral Palsy (CP)
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Internal prosthesis (such as total hip replacement)
• Lower limb degenerative joint disease (such as knee joint degenerative osteoarthritis)
• Spinal muscular atrophy
• Hemiplegic patients
• Paraplegic patients

An optional pediatric orthosis maxes the NX-A3 compatible with small children.
