JaipurBelt

The JaipurBelt is a back-assist passive exoskeleton designed to support the spine and lower back during repetitive activities that require leaning forward, lifting, loading, or unloading. It is made by the Indian exoskeleton startup Newndra.

Description

The JaipurBelt is a versatile passive exoskeleton for repetitive work. While it is primarily an industrial/occupational device, it has also been assessed for defense and military logistics. The wearable uses an adjustable, proprietary multi-dimensional hinge mechanism. The JaipurBelt is located near the user’s hip, but it can also supplement and safeguard other body parts from injury, such as the shoulders. It can be customized and configured to meet specific customer needs.
