Description
The Caplex EXO-001 by Humotech is a high-power ankle exoskeleton that is actuated using a cable drive system from a separate power and control system. It is a research device meant to allow researchers and producers to quickly cycle through ankle exoskeleton ideas without having to build one device prototype after the next. The package includes an integrated force sensor and angle sensor and can deliver up to 180 Nm through the cable drive system.
The EXO-001 is built on more than 12 years of walking and running studies and is compatible with both the full-sized and portable Caplex System by the same company.
Child-Sized Options Available
The Humotech EXO-001 is also available for pediatric applications. The child-sized version comes with interchangeable shoes, size US Kids 12-4. This technology allows researchers and specialists to conduct studies not just for adults but for kids as well.
