Description
DARWING UT-Rise is a soft, garment-like assist suit from Daiya Industry Co., Ltd. intended for work environments where an outer exoskeleton-style device may be difficult to use, such as caregiving, manufacturing, food-related work, logistics, and jobs requiring uniforms. Daiya describes it as an inner-type suit with full mesh construction and a design that can be worn like clothing.
The device is sold as an upper-and-lower set and uses high-repulsion rubber to support lifting movements and mid-waist posture. The waist/back buckle and adjustment belt allow the assist function to be turned on or off without removing the suit, supporting use across tasks that alternate between lifting, driving, sitting, and desk work.
User Limits (age, weight, height, etc.):
- L size height 1.67–1.85 m (5 ft 6 in–6 ft 1 in), chest 85–105 cm (33.5–41.3 in), waist 70–100 cm (27.6–39.4 in), calf circumference 30–42 cm (11.8–16.5 in);
- M size height 1.50–1.67 m (4 ft 11 in–5 ft 6 in), chest 80–90 cm (31.5–35.4 in), waist 60–90 cm (23.6–35.4 in), calf circumference 29–40 cm (11.4–15.7 in).
Note: Daiya’s official store lists the release date as July 2024. A regional company profile states that “UT” derives from “Ultra Thin,” and “Rise” refers to rising/standing up.
