Harnessing resistance: the impact of a passive exosuit on golf swing biomechanics

Mechanism/conclusion: The passive band acted like an external tendon, storing and returning energy to augment torso-pelvis recoil, thereby boosting downswing power and improving CHS without altering swing patterns. (likely referring to the H-Swing by Hurotics link)

Student Initiatives & DIY

DIY Aim Assist Exoskeleton: ExR’s Perspective: 130k+ views, and it works! Ten years ago, the community was speculating that something like this could be done to train/improve aim, but it was based on parkinson tremor suppression exoskeleton technology at the time.

The ACE Competition 2026 will be held at Sherbrooke University (Quebec, Canada): Expect more information soon!

Chandler teen invents motor function helper: ExR’s Perspective: An unusual case where the idea for an exoskeleton started with the intended end-users, and not the technology. “RELab ETH Zürich is preparing its Medical Engineering I course for this semester, now upgraded with a set of brand-new EduExo Pro!: And the twist? This course isn’t aimed at engineering students, but at medical students—future doctors who are now getting hands-on experience with exoskeleton technology.”
