Saebo and Hocoma team up to offer an educational course in new technologies and practices in the field of upper body rehabilitation for stroke patients. The four-hour class will primarily focus on a hands-on lab, with a lecture component completed as pre-work. The class is specifically designed for practicing occupational or physical therapists and yes, it will include products by both Saebo and Hocoma.
The education session will take place at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, California on March 23, 2019, from 8am to 12pm (PST)

Educating the Professionals
The joint Saebo and Hocoma educational course feels like an extension of Hocoma Academy (link). The Hocoma Academy is a wonderful resource center filled with webinars on new rehabilitation technology and techniques, covering subjects often not limited to Hocoma’s or exoskeleton products in any form or fashion. Hocoma also holds a Hocoma Academy three day sessions at Switzerland.
Another entity that is heavily focused on continual education (and promotion of wearables including exoskeletons) is IISART: Internation Industry Society in Advanced Rehabilitation Technology (link). IISART draws together medical wearables and exoskeleton developers and is a wonderful resource site that can bring anyone quickly up to speed on wearables and modern rehabilitation techniques.
Happy Learning!

How much fee of this course and what are the duration of that course?
Good questions. Both Hocoma and Saebo have an educational component to their websites, especially webinars. So far, all the ones I have seen have been free.
