Description
The Q20 is a lightweight, active (powered) lumbar exoskeleton that weighs 2.3kg (5 lb). It integrates wearable robotic controls with a unique design morphology. It was designed to support workers in logistics, ports, airports, factories, and agriculture, but it is likely applicable to countless additional settings. The Q20 blends the form factor of passive (elastic) back support exoskeletons with an electrical-powered device. This results in a unique shape that is form-fitting at the hips, making it potentially easier to work in tighter areas where space is at a premium. The leg straps extend below the knees to limit slippage or riding up.
