The company hTRIUS (pronounce aitch-trius) started in early 2019 in the black forest in southern Germany. Combining a long experience with exoskeleton development and sports knowledge, hTRIUS develops exoskeleton systems that focus on the end-user by addressing many of the problems current exoskeletons are facing when implementing them in work environments like a bulky design or restricting functionality.
In November of 2021, the company was focusing on the german speaking market but is starting to work with resellers in the European market.
Note that historically Germany has preferred to evaluate and import exoskeleton technology and the formation of hTRIUS is a deviation from this trend.
