ABLE Human Motion's first product is the ABLE Exoskeleton: a lightweight, adjustable, hip-knee-powered exoskeleton for neurorehabilitation in Europe. This wearable device is the result of a collaboration with hundreds of clinicians and patients, integrating their feedback into the design to better address their needs. It incorporates the latest robotics, electric motors, power electronics, manufacturing, and wireless connectivity technologies to maximize patient autonomy and promote neuroplasticity.
ABLE Human Motion was founded in October 2018 after several years of R&D by the Biomechanical Engineering Lab of Universitat Politè€cnica de Catalunya (UPC). The company utilizes a Quality Management System in place certified by BSI (ISO 13485 for medical device manufacturers), and we are proud members of the International Industry Society in Advanced Rehabilitation Technology (IISART).
