February 29, 2024
Wearable Technologies, part of Cambridge University Press, has issued a special call for papers on rehabilitation robotics, including medical exoskeletons and wearables robotics. The papers will be included as part of the Special Issue on the International Conference on Rehabilitation Robotics 2023 (ICORR 2023).
Deadline: February 29, 2024

Summary:
Rehabilitation robotics hold the promise of revolutionising both clinical settings and activities of daily living, yet adoption remains low. This Special Issue aims to foster collaborative discussion between academics, producers, clinicians, and contributors in this multi-disciplinary field.
This Special Issue is open to extended works that have been accepted for publication in the proceedings of the International Conference on Rehabilitation Robotics (ICORR) that will be held in Singapore in September 2023. Submissions must provide significant added contributions relative to the conference papers.
Potential topics include but are not limited to:
- Design of novel wearable systems
- Adaptive control strategies for rehabilitation exoskeletons and prostheses
- Novel experimental methods for rehabilitation through wearable robots
- Clinical trials using rehabilitation robots
