AExG Q1 2024 Meeting
June 5 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am PDT
FreeThe Automotive Exoskeleton Group, AExG, is scheduled to hold its next quarterly meeting on May 8th, from 10 a.m. to noon. Update time: Wednesday, June 5th, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. This will be an online meeting conducted over Microsoft Teams as an Online Event. The AExG quarterly meetings are a good way to stay up to date on practical industrial/occupational exoskeletons and connect with application experts in the field (as opposed to developers or researchers).
One component of the meeting will be an overview of future exoskeleton-related events and an opportunity for everyone attending to add to the calendar.
Visit the AExG website for more information: https://www.aexg.org, but note that the best way to get involved is through their LinkedIn group: LinkedIn.
Prior AExG meetings included exoskeleton and ergonomic conference and trade show recaps, presentation summaries, discussions, and more.
I am interested in attending. How do I access the meeting? Is there a link or something?
Hi Andrew, I’m sorry I missed your comment! Yes, the link was in the LinkedInGroup for AExG. You can also sign up on their website: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/8927195/. Please subscribe and follow that. Sorry, you missed the meeting. Quick recap: I gave an overview of the updated Event Calendar and Device Catalog on this website. The calendar has 20+ upcoming events and 100 total events. The exoskeleton catalog now has 200 active products and 42 hidden retired ones. Tom Sugar gave an overview of the Wearable Robotics Association, you can find their new website here: https://wearablerobotics.com; This was followed up by a 25 minute discussion on:
* how to capture success stories and build a narrative around the use of exoskeletons that is easy for non-technical people to understand
* finding the right application for the right exoskeleton
* how to engage with the various organizations out there and strengthen the community
