Agade

Agade (AGADE srl) is an Italy-based exoskeleton developer and Politecnico di Milano spin-off focused on “semi-active” workplace exoskeletons that use sensors and AI-driven control to provide adaptive assistance during manual material-handling tasks. At the start of 2026, its product line includes the Agadexo Shoulder, designed to reduce muscular effort in the shoulders and upper back during repetitive lifting by transferring load to the legs, and the Agadexo Lowback, intended to reduce lower-back stress during repeated bending and lifting. The company’s “Agade” technology (Anti-Gravity Active Device for Exoskeletons) was patented in 2019 and originates from earlier university research on assistive exoskeletons.
