In September of 2021, after five years of research and development, Biomotum was ready to transition to a commercialization stage for its first product, the Biomotum SPARK robotic exoskeleton. The Biomotum SPARK is an active ankle exoskeleton for walking assistance. The company has its roots in helping children and young adults with cerebral palsy. In order to facilitate the commercialization and visibility for research partnerships of the Biomotum SPARK Robotic Exoskeleton, the company has launched a new website and brand identity. Biomotum was founded in Flagstaff, AZ in 2019, by Dr. Zach Lerner, Dr. Ray Browning, and Joe Lerner.
