Basi Stage: Assist Suit by Fraunhofer IPA

The Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (Fraunhofer IPA), Europe’s largest applied research organization in the field of science and technology, will present on the increasingly popular assist suits (exoskeletons). This session presents a unique opportunity to examine the distinctions between Japanese and European perspectives on exoskeleton technology. We encourage you to attend and gain valuable insights!

This session: “Assist Suit by Fraunhofer IPA” is part of the Future Monodzukuri International EXPO 2025 (FMI EXPO 2025). This event is a major industrial technology exhibition in Japan, focusing on innovations in manufacturing (monodzukuri), automation, robotics, safety, and sustainability. It brings together global leaders in applied research and engineering, including WearRA leaders Dr. Urs Schneider and Christophe Maufroy from Fraunhofer IPA.
