ACE Competition 2026

ACE Competition 2026, the Applied Collegiate Exoskeleton Competition, will run from Friday evening, May 15, through Sunday evening, May 17, 2026. Hosted by McMaster Exoskeleton in Hamilton, ACE brings together undergraduate university teams developing lower-body exoskeletons and testing them in a 475-point competition built around Design Review, Judge Piloting, Ergonomic Tests, and the Athletic Test. The official site emphasizes versatility, reliability, cost efficiency, and weight efficiency as core judging priorities, and the 2026 Teams page currently lists SynapsÉTS, QBMET, BioGéniUS, HÉKA, MacExo, M-STARX, and MSU STARX.
The ACE 2026 website already has Handbook and Rulebook sections, and they will be available with an inspection guide closer to the ACE Competition.
