About: This is an opportunity for the entire committee to meet in person, ratify and discuss standards and work either in subgroups or as part of the main meeting. Expect hours of discussions and reviews of standards and their intent. This is a time to disconnect and focus on adding and revising the exoskeleton and wearable robotics standards landscape. The meeting will be part of April 2026 Committee Week.

Subcommittees: F48 boasts six technical subcommittees working on standards.

Duration: The entire Committee meets biannually, spanning 2 to 3 days of technical discussions, while subcommittees and technical groups work separately, though recently there has been more overlap with F45 on Robotics.
