Archelis Inc. is a Yokohama, Japan–based hardware/healthtech company (est. Feb 2020) focused on reducing the human burden of prolonged standing work through technology and design. The company says the project began from a desire to ease the strain on surgeons who must stand for long operations, and its broader mission is “removing strain from standing work” by helping make healthier standing work a global standard.
