CES 2026 – The Global Stage for Innovation
January 6–9, 2026
Location: Las Vegas Convention Center and venues across Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Organizer: Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®
Websites: https://www.ces.tech
About:
CES is billed as “the global stage for innovation,” the most powerful annual tech event where the entire consumer technology ecosystem converges—major brands, startups, investors, policymakers, and media. Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association, CES spans everything from automotive, AI, smart home, and gaming to digital health, robotics, and wearables.
For exoskeletons and wearable robotics, CES has become increasingly relevant: recent editions have featured multiple wearable robot and exoskeleton Innovation Award honorees (e.g., Hypershell Carbon X and pediatric gait/walking exoskeletons) within the Robotics and Digital Health topic areas, and CES 2026 Innovation Award announcements already highlight new wearable assistive robots. The number of exoskeleton systems on display at CES has been steadily increasing. I even published an article on Forbes.com titled “Exoskeleton Technology Has A Strong Showing At CES 2025,” highlighting the increased presence of exoskeleton producers at the event. As of this entry, eight exoskeleton producers are already signed up for CES 2026, and likely many more will be in attendance (sometimes joined to a “parent” company or distributor booth).
This year, the Exoskeleton Report team will do their utmost to be personally at the event and learn about the latest and greatest in exo technology.
