2026 Exoskeleton News (Week 10) – Mining Rescue, RoboCT Funding, New Jobs and More

Exoskeleton News Week 10 March 2026

It is important to remember that each and every week the world of exoskeletons and wearable robotics is improving and growing (even if not as fast as we would like to). Here are the major news from the first week of March 2026 (if I missed something, don’t hesitate to contact me and let me know).

Text version (all the links available in the email and ebeded versions below).

“Muscle Suit PRO INSOLE” will be released on March 6th to make standing work easier

Industrial exoskeleton companies often work with employees who perform a lot of physical work, often in safety or environmentally suitable footwear that might not be the most comfortable. Innophys has chosen to expand and introduce its own line of shoe insoles for workers who need to stand or walk for extended periods.

Robert Carriere – Rejected By Professors, Backed By The Space Agency

Danny Li talks with “The Exoskeleton Pioneer” on the past and the future of Endo-Skeletal Equilibrium Augmentation starting from Canada and now expanding globally.

Boeing Exoskeleton Iterations – Succeed, Fail, Learn, Sustain

“…Dr. Reid will touch on the Boeing exoskeleton technology journey spanning from 2012 to present and highlight insights and lessons learned, as the company continues to iteratively improve on ways to help sustain use of the technology in its workplace.”

“China develops its first exoskeleton robot for mine emergency rescue”

– This headline has been circulating the news all week, but without a clear image or explanation on how it is different other than it being a combined shoulder-back system. Several countries have been actively investigating how to modify existing exo-tech for mining, so it is plausible that there is similar work happening in China, Peru and many other locations around the globe.

RoboCT has raised more than RMB 100 million (about USD 13.7 million) in a new Series B+ round to expand its consumer exoskeleton business, accelerate product development, and support broader market growth at home and abroad. The company, which shifted from hospital rehabilitation toward the consumer market, says it could ship 60,000 to 100,000 consumer exoskeleton units in 2026. The company is also working towards a non-invasive brain-machine interface.
