SUMMARY:CIOSH 2026 (Shanghai) Will Include Exoskeleton Tech Park
DESCRIPTION:CIOSH 2026 (China International Occupational Safety & Health Goods Expo) returns to Shanghai\, China on 7–9 April 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). \nThis year’s show is expected to feature a dedicated exoskeleton technology / “EXO Park” prototype area\, modeled after the ExoPark at A+A Düsseldorf\, making it an important event for occupational exoskeletons and wearable robotics. \nExR note: The Fraunhofer IPA team will send two representatives to attend\, with a specific focus on exoskeletons (as they did for the Japanese event last year)\, as part of a collaborative effort with A+A\, which is broadening its geographical footprint: \n \nImage source: https://www.ciosh.com/en \nLocation: Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC)\, Shanghai\, China \nDates: 7–9 April 2026 \nEvent site: CIOSH (Shanghai/China) – ciosh.com \nThe event is expected to draw over 1\,500 exhibitors (with an audience of 40\,000 professionals) showcasing personal protective equipment and adjacent technologies for workers. The Exo Park will be located in Hall 5\, which coincidentally is the same hall number as the German version. Some of the already announced exoskeleton producer presenters are: \n\n\nShanghai ULS Robotics Technology Co.\, Ltd. (ULS Robotics) \n\n\nShenzhen Kenqing Technology Co.\, Ltd. (Kenqing Technology) \n\n\nHangzhou RoboCT Technology Development Co.\, Ltd. (RoboCT Technology) \n\n\nHowever\, the full presenter’s list isn’t out yet\, so you could expect more exo producers\, distributors\, or integrators to join.

SUMMARY:OTWorld 2026 - International Trade Show and World Congress
DESCRIPTION:OTWorld is a medical device-focused combination congress and trade fair. It brings together manufacturers\, distributors\, and service providers of modern assistive technologies with a significant human-machine interface. The last edition in 2024 has 574 exhibitors from 42 countries\, 300+ speakers at the congress\, and over 20k visitors. \nWhile this is not an exoskeleton-specific event\, there appears to be a growing representation of these devices at OTWorld; in 2024 there were: \n\n\nMarsi Bionics – showing the ATLAS 2030 pediatric gait exoskeleton for children with conditions like cerebral palsy or SMA.   \n\n\nMEBSTER – exhibiting UNILEXA 2.0\, a smart passive lower-limb exoskeleton aimed at people with spinal cord injury\, listed under product groups including “Exoskeleton.”   \n\n\nVincent Systems – with LUNAneo1\, a myoelectric upper-limb exoskeleton for stroke/plexus-injury patients\, designed to be worn under clothing.   \n\n\nAdditionally\, there were also congress sessions explicitly referencing exoskeletons (e.g.\, workshops on UNILEXA 2.0 and talks on lifting with exoskeletons). Therefore\, we can expect OTWorld 2026 to have even more rehab/medical exoskeleton content and exhibitors (plus big orthotics/prosthetics players like Ottobock\, where exoskeletons and orthoses blur together). \n

SUMMARY:8th Annual Human Performance & Biosystems Summit
DESCRIPTION:Defense Strategies Institute’s Human Performance & Biosystems Summit is a defense-focused event on warfighter readiness and human performance optimization. The 2026 program brings together military leaders\, research labs\, industry\, and academia to discuss total force fitness\, injury reduction and recovery\, cognitive and physical readiness\, and the growing use of wearable biosensors\, digital health tools\, AI\, and analytics to monitor and improve performance across the force. \nThis is not a dedicated exoskeleton event. Currently\, there is no specific exoskeleton\, exosuit\, or explicit HMI track in the 2026 materials\, but the summit clearly relates to that area because it focuses on wearable biotech\, biosensors\, biomechanics\, rehabilitation\, and human-performance technologies relevant to military human augmentation. The most evident overlap is the planned emphasis on wearable biotechnology\, readiness measurement\, injury prevention and recovery\, biomechanics\, and the use of wearable fitness technologies by the military. Last year’s Defense Advancement summit emphasized wearable biotech and data-driven decision-making\, with panel discussions on wearable technology\, biometrics\, and biosystems integration. \nAttending in person is encouraged; the event is closed to the press and has no recordings. \nDates: June 10-11\, 2026 \nVenue / address: 151 St George Blvd\, Oxon Hill\, MD 20745 \nOrganizer: DSI Group / Defense Strategies Institute. \nWebsite: Official summit page.

SUMMARY:BioRob 2026 - IEEE RAS/EMBS International Conference on Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics
DESCRIPTION:The 11th iteration of the IEEE International Conference on Biomedical Robotics and Biomechatronics (BioRob 2026) is organized by two IEEE Societies: Robotics and Automation (RAS) and Engineering in Medicine and Biology (EMBS). “BioRob delves into both theoretical and practical challenges arising from the integration of robotics and mechatronics into medicine and biology. The main objective of Biorobotics is to evaluate biological systems through a ‘biomechatronic’ lens\, striving to unravel the scientific and engineering principles that underpin their exceptional performance.” \nFor 2026\, the conference website lists “Exoskeletons\, Exosuits\, and Wearable Assistive Devices” as one of the top conference themes\, and the main website prominently features multiple exoskeleton devices (as of writing this entry). In the news section\, the organizers welcome ideas for competitions and challenges\, workshops and tutorials in addition to the usual call for papers. \nBioRob 2026 will take place August 1–4\, 2026\, in Edmonton\, Alberta\, Canada\, as a research-focused IEEE conference rather than a commercial trade fair. Given the dedicated theme on exoskeletons\, exosuits\, and wearable assistive devices\, BioRob 2026 should be particularly relevant for researchers and engineers working on medical and rehabilitation exoskeletons\, soft exosuits\, and control algorithms\, rather than for end-user demos or buyers/end-users. \nThe organization offers financial assistance to attend the conference in person for presenters or IEEE RAS members; more details are available on their website.

SUMMARY:REHACARE International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care
DESCRIPTION:REHACARE has an established exoskeleton product category\, and recent editions (2023–2025) have showcased multiple rehab and industrial exoskeletons (e.g.\, Lifeward/ReWalk\, Laevo\, and others). REHACARE’s official 2025/2026 media campaigns heavily feature exoskeleton content\, so the 2026 fair is very likely to include a significant exoskeleton presence. It’s almost certain that REHACARE 2026 will again have multiple rehab/medical and possibly industrial exoskeleton exhibitors and demos. \n \n\n\nREHACARE’s own official e-mag has a big feature titled “Exoskeletons at REHACARE 2025: An overview of four exciting systems”\, highlighting multiple exoskeleton products and positioning them as a key attraction of the fair. \n\n\nAnother article\, “ReWalk 7 debuts at REHACARE 2025”\, reports that Lifeward presented the CE-approved ReWalk 7 exoskeleton at REHACARE 2025. \n\n\nThe official REHACARE 2024 profile data lists “Exoskeletons” as a distinct product group with its own percentage share\, i.e.\, exoskeletons are now a stable\, named category at the fair rather than a one-off novelty. \n\n\nExternal coverage and social posts (e.g.\, CYBATHLON demos with Angel Robotics\, Laevo exoskeletons at REHACARE 2024\, etc.) repeatedly show powered and passive exoskeletons on the show floor. \n\n\nExpect REHACARE to be a hotspot for innovation\, exchange\, and participation\, a central meeting place for the international community for independent living. Exhibitors from around the world showcase the latest products\, services\, and innovations that make everyday life easier and enable participation.

SUMMARY:18th ASTM F48 Meeting at Committee Week
DESCRIPTION:ASTM Committee F48 on Exoskeletons is scheduled to have its 18th group meeting during ASTM Committee week in Jacksonville\, Florida. Committee subgroups meet regularly throughout the year\, and these events are an opportunity for the entire body to come together in its effort to produce consensus guides and standards. \nDates: Wednesday\, December 9\, 2026 – Thursday\, December 10\, 2026 \nLocation: \nHyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront\, 225 East Coastline Drive\, Jacksonville\, Florida 32202\, USA \nAbout: \nASTM Committee F48 on Exoskeletons and Exosuits was formed in 2017 to develop voluntary consensus standards for exoskeletons and exosuits across industrial\, emergency response\, medical\, and military applications\, and is now starting to look into consumer applications. The committee’s work spans safety\, quality\, performance\, ergonomics\, terminology\, and IT/security considerations across the full product life cycle for both passive and powered systems\, including those with physical or cognitive integration. This additional in-person December 2026 Committee Week meeting provides 2 days of intensive technical sessions to ballot new standards\, refine existing ones\, and coordinate with related committees\, under the staff management of Nora Nimmerichter. \nSubcommittees: \nF48 has six technical subcommittees responsible for developing and maintaining standards covering topics such as safety and human factors\, task-specific performance tests\, quality and reliability\, information technology and security aspects\, and terminology and classification. These groups typically meet in both parallel and joint sessions during Committee Week to progress ballots and new work items. \nDuration: \nCommittee F48 meets twice per year for 2–3 days of technical meetings\, typically in April and December; this Jacksonville session is the additional in-person December Committee Week meeting focused specifically on exoskeleton and exosuit standards development. \nMore Info & Registration: ASTM Committee F48 site (ASTM International – Committee F48 on Exoskeletons and Exosuits).
