SUMMARY:Operational Medicine Symposium (OPMED)
DESCRIPTION:The 9th Annual Operational Medicine Symposium (OPMED) will bring together about 1\,200 senior medical officials\, clinicians\, researchers\, and industry leaders from the Military Health System\, the Department of War\, federal agencies\, and academia in San Antonio\, TX\, on March 3-4\, 2027. \nThe sessions cover challenges that many exoskeleton developers are already working on. These include force health protection in extreme environments\, readiness for large-scale combat operations\, and the use of AI and new technology in operational medicine. Heavy loads and the strain of austere environments make musculoskeletal injuries a major threat to readiness. That puts injury prevention\, load support\, and faster return to duty at the center of OPMED’s discussions of warfighter survivability. \nFor exoskeleton and wearable robotics developers working in the military and medical markets\, OPMED 2027 offers a chance to hear firsthand how military medicine is defining its needs\, and to join the discussion on how new capabilities can support the warfighter. \nEvent Name: Operational Medicine Symposium (OPMED) \nDates: March 3-4\, 2027 \nLocation: San Antonio\, TX \nURL:  https://hubs.li/Q04D0Yym0 \nOPMED is one of the largest and most influential military medical events in North America for senior medical officials\, clinicians\, government leaders\, and solution providers.  The 9th Annual Symposium aims to advance the lethality\, survivability\, and readiness of the Joint Force by championing military medical innovations.
