InMotion ARM

The InMotion ARM is a shoulder-elbow fixed/stationary rehabilitation exoskeleton with an optional extension for hand grasping.

The InMotion robots and their manufacturer, Interactive Motion Technologies were acquired by Bionik Labs in 2016.

The InMotion ARM has been sold in over 20 countries and has been used with 1000s of patients in clinical trials.  Like most fixed framed exoskeletons, the device can be used for rehabilitation and evaluation.

The system provides task-specific movement training.  Exercises with the InMotion ARM focus on:

  • Range of Motion
  • Coordination
  • Strength
  • Movement Speed
  • Movement Smoothness

An optional module called the InMotion HAND can be used to train grasp and release training.  The InMotion Hand is an add-on module to the InMotion ARM transforming the device into a Shoulder-Elbow-Hand rehabilitation solution.
