DESCRIPTION:Dates: Thursday\, April 10\, 2025 – Friday\, April 11\, 2025 \nLocation: The event has been moved online via Teams. \nAbout: The April Committee Week will include the 15th general meeting of ASTM Committee F48 on Exoskeletons and Exosuits\, formed to develop consensus standards for exoskeletons and exosuits. This committee addresses safety\, quality\, performance\, ergonomics\, and terminology throughout the product’s life cycle\, covering various applications from industrial to consumer\, passive to active systems\, and physical to cognitive integration. This will be the first time F48 is meeting in Canada. \nUpdate: The F48 meetings slated for ASTM April Committee week will be held virtually only. \nSubcommittees: F48 boasts six technical subcommittees working on standards. \nDuration: The entire Committee meets biannually\, spanning 2 to 3 days of technical discussions\, while subcommittees and technical groups work separately\, though recently there has been more overlap with F45 on Robotics. \nMore Info & Registration: ASTM Committee F48 Site
